Custom, skill-based training for leaders and community members.

Harmony provides trainings designed to promote confidence and competency. These practical, skill-based opportunities are led by credentialed, experienced professionals who also provide direct care to children and families.
Educational and training opportunities are tailored to meet the unique educational and developmental needs of each group. Either by using the retreat facilities at the Harmony Family Center at Montvale or coming to the family’s location. Harmony’s educational trainings can be customized to meet specific needs.

Trainings available include, but are not limited to:

Introduction to Trauma Responsive Education (1-2 hour)
Creating a Trauma Responsive Classroom (3-4 hour)
The 6 R’s: Creating a Neurodevelopmentally Informed Classroom (2 hours)
Supporting Sensory Needs in the Classroom (1.5-3 hours)
I Feel Angry in My Tummy: Teaching Self-Regulation Skills to Children (1-2 hours)
Teaching with the Brain in Mind (1.5 to 2 hours)
Rhythm is Regulating: Somatosensory Activities for Traumatized Children (2-3 hours)
