Harmony Enrichment Center

Hello Families,

I think we can all agree that the 20-21 school year has unfolded in ways that we could not have

predicted a year ago. Many working parents are juggling emails and zoom meetings, acting as

in-home IT experts for students in virtual school, and if you are like me, often googling 'how to

do common core math?". It has been tough, but Harmony is here to help. We've been serving

children and families across Tennessee for almost 25 years, offering support, therapy, and

advocacy during stressful times. And we are using that expertise and experience to launch the

Harmony Enrichment Center.

The Harmony Enrichment Center is intentionally developed to support families facing the challenges of remote learning, provide children with a supportive, educational environment, and ensure that children and families have resources and guidance amid a time of stress and change. During the school day at the Center, we will offer relational care, virtual curriculum guidance, technology troubleshooting support, and more. Through our after-care programming we will also offer social-emotional learning, music and movement actives like drumming and dance, sensory experiences, and regular visits with the super cuddly team of Harmony therapy dogs. Enrolled families will also have access to free educational advocacy, parent coaching, and a slew other resources to enrich the lives of students as families in this unique school year.

Harmony will prioritize the safety of students and staff by keeping groups to no more than 10 students, conducting temperature checks, minimizing cross-student supply/toy sharing, requiring masks, and regular sanitizing of surfaces and touch points within the Center.

While we certainly did not know what 2020 had in store for us, we do know Harmony is at the ready to ensure children and families can live their best lives.
